Hi i just checked one of my newely purchased domain names link popularity using checkpagerank.net and it came up that the domain was page rank 3 which i new but also said that it had 39,000 links.

It said the link popularity for the website was
    39,000

Now i was wondering if the link popularity of a website affects its page rank or popularity in search engines.
Also if the link popularity is related to the backlinks of a website

    Will.

Link popularity is just that no matter what search engine shows a list of your backlinks. Link popularity is a general term like "websites". Pagerank is a whole different ballgame. Pagerank is based upon backlinks that are listed only with google and no other website. Pagerank is a formula based upon the backlinks you have on google and the strength of those links based upon the pagerank of the page your link is on. The higher the pagerank of the page your link is on vs how many links go out of that page is the final part of the formula.

There are very few people on earth that know the way to get every benefit out of the google backlink formula, and I taught them.
