What does it mean?

    There is a red mark left to a forum name where i have made a post in the 'last reputation received' option in my CP here. what does it mean?

    It means some one gave you an anonamous negative reputation rating for one of your posts. Get enough of those and your over all reputation indicator will turn red on your posts.

    If its RED - u got a Negative point
    GREEN - u got a Positive point
    GREY - u got a Neutral(cos the giver has no points)
    Also points Given in General Chat also dont count :)

    Yeah I thought GC rep doesn't count either, Amit, but each time I get some my rep increases. :confused:

    Now, why on earth would anyone gimme a negative reputation? I have been a kind soul helping everyone out here as far as i remember. No harsh comment to anyone and played by the books. I find it highly amusing.

    It matters in GC,,,if the person giving you rep has hi enough rep...Or at least has for me a few times..

    Now thats what is confusing me as i have been a nice person around, not a single argument with anyone :confused: . You do not give negative repu just for engaging in a topic discussion, do you ? But obviously someone thinks otherwise. Well, i think you cannot please them all...:confused: :confused:
