What does it mean when quality of traffic effects earnings?

Hello all,

I have seen certain threads say that the quality of your traffic effects your earnings. Can somebody please explain this?

Is it just to do with the fact that people from search engines are more likely to click ads and people from other sources are not as likely?

i think quality of traffic can have to do with the kind of visitors you get. i.e. if a lot of your traffic is bots, crawlers (i.e. not unique visitors) then i dont think it is good for your earnings.

in general, good quality traffic means you are getting lots of unique visitors from good sources (search engine results, articles, links from blogs like this, etc.) so aim for that kind of traffic

 

The quality traffic would be more than likely USA visitors with some other countries.

 

US and Europe are good source of traffic. I get 80% of my traffic there.

 

Quality traffic basically refer to targeted traffic, which means your site's visitors are those who are really looking for your content, and usually it comes from search engines.

 

And targeteed traffic is the traffic the advertisers want.

 

Quality traffic can called it as targeted traffic too.
Search engine or PPC traffic consider a targeted traffic
Those traffic exchange, PTC traffic consider non quality traffic

 

The targeted traffic, that the advertisers look for.

 

If you have a Website and you want to make money with it using Google Adsense or selling your products or affiliate products then targeted traffic is a must.

No traffic = No Sale, No clicks.

 

This is what quality customers and earnings ratio

 

Quality of traffic can mean that:

Whether the traffic is targeted or not?

Traffic that is not targeted is not quality traffic. Organic traffic is targeted and thus is quality traffic.

Traffic that comes from USA/ UK, that traffic can be considered as quality traffic is some cases.
