currenty PR0, predicted PR5, but who knows. I am planning to buy PR7, but is worth get PR9 link? is it help for my PR?
I will increase you PT, which will not show untill at least the next update. Try not to be fixated on PR, but in gaining high quality relevane backlinks which will help with you search engine placement.
Forget about the PR prediction sites - They are just for fun and a guess at best. To begin with, google rounds toolbar PR, so a PR5 site can be a 5.01 or a 5.99 and you have no way of knowing. A PR 5.99 has approximately 6 times more weight that a 5.01, so that is the main reason these PR prediction programs are never consistently accurate. They are forced to guess (use an average PR for every link). Then PR is divided between the number of links on the page and most of these programs to not seem to factor this in (based on how quick it returns an answer). Most sites seem to predict a PR that is too high- which is probably to keep visitors coming back (no one wants to see a site predicting a low PR) There are a lot of misconceptions about PR. PR, in itself, will not help you rank higher in google. Links from related sites are what help you with SERPS. If you have a site that obtained its PR from related sector sites, then it will likely increase your SERPS. If you are going to buy a high PR link - make sure it is from a site that is relevant if your intent is to increase your rankings - and beware that google has banned certain sites from passing PR (usually the ones who are in the business of selling links) but of course they aren't going to tell you which ones. Each page can pass approximately 85% of it's PR, but since that is split between all outgoing links on the page, it's value is diluted with every link added.... i.e. if you buy a link on a PR7 page that has 20 outgoing links, you are going to need 20 of these links to equal a PR7 link with only (1) outgoing link. You can buy enough links to get your site to a PR7 (PR8, etc), but if they are all from non-related sites, you aren't going to help your ranking for your keyword(s). The only good buying high PR links from non-related sites is that they can increase your toolbar PR which will make it easier to exchange links with related sites- since many webmasters make their decision based on PR. The less links on the page the better. A link from a site with 50 outgoing links is going to pass very little PR to each link. A PR6 link from a site with only 5 outgoing links on the page will page more than a PR7 with 50 outgoing links. Ranking well with google is about relevant links from authority sites. If you just want to increase your toolbar PR and not your rankings, then it doesn't matter if you buy a link from a relevant site or not.
Unless google has already clocked that site selling pr links in which case a link from a relative pr4/5 site could be of more value. PR does not equal visitors or income so as others have stated make sure your doing what you do for the right reason.
Buying PR is pretty worthless unless your in the business of selling links. A link from a PR9 site would probably get you a PR7 so long as theirs not a truckload of other outgoing links.
I got myself a PR9 link (not paid for it it will be permanent) to my PR6 website (stats read here http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=333199) Lets see what it will bring... I hope a PR8 ;-)
True, it got presented in relation to my own post and did not look the date... So we see that nothing gets outdated on Digital Point...
