Hello Friends My question is simple if somehow we manage to get 1 PR10 website backlink and 3-4 PR9 websites backlinks. what does these effect to our website. do we increase our google position if yes then how much ?? Sorry for newbie question.
This is a really misunderstood subject. Many thing that getting backlinks on websites with high PR gives you trust and rank and it can IF and that's a big IF you get your link on the page with high PR which almost never happens. Even if you do, it's value is diluted by the other dofollow outgoing links on the page. As far as how much it increases your rank, this cannot be predicted. That is a very dynamic calculation made by search engine algorithms and is too complicated to foresee. All you can do is try to get links and then observe for yourself how your SERP changes...using a proxy server.
Pages are of PR what described above but 2-3 PR9 backlinks will be do follow all others are nofollow will that help as far as my experienced is concerned one of my website was on third position with no familiar keyword when i made one PR10 backlinks it goes outside 1000 results for one day after that day i was again on 1st position. so i think that backlink help me to raise my position what do you think??
PR 10 and PR9 typically would be quality authoritative sites and having a do-follow link would help a great deal in placement of your site in SERPs. The anchor text used for the link and the number of outgoing links on the page also have an affect on how well you rank for the keyword you are optimizing for.
The question is: How easy for us to get a dofollow backlinks from PR 9 or PR 10 websites? If you got one, then your really lucky but if you bought that link, then your ranking is just temporary.
A common misconception is that a high PR site linking to a low PR site will some how harm the ranking of the high PR site. This isn't true but it is widely believed, so to get a link from any high PR site (i.e 5+) is very difficult as webmaster don't want to compromise their high PR.
Websites don't have PageRank; pages have PageRank. If you can get "follow" links from PR9 or PR10 pages, it will have a huge favorable impact on your webpage that is linked to, especially for the keywords in the anchor text of the links from those high-PR pages.
Pagerank for the homepage of WiredPages went up today. from 2 to 3. I have no backlinks-- other than internal- so how was this done? Also I am assuming the many links to my site-- like this forum thread-- are not counted because they are not backlinks with PR-- is this true? Q...
You probably got backlinks from other people on other sites (check out BlueBacklinks.com or .net). If you really have none it might be that a domain with a high pagerank is redirecting to your website. That is wrong, every link has some weight and so are links from this page also given weight (not a lot, but something )
I'm also confused with this subject. Pages have page rank right. What about the main site has Page rank of 8 so you build backlinks to example profile link forums. Can you still benefit from building backlinks to that even though the profile you link shows page rank 0?
When you visit the homepage of a site and it shows PR8. That PR is only for the homepage of the site. It is still in the long term interest of your site to seek out links from relevant sites than just high PR sites. And don't forget to vary your anchor text. I can't tell you how many times I checked the link profiles of sites and 90% or more of their links have the same anchor text. This doesn't look natural.
You can give your website a boost with these high Pagerank backlinks. But it should be "do follow" as well.
The verses I use Firefox / E and install the plugin SeoQuake (SeoQuake search plugin) when you search Google, get more information you need on the Google search page without having to check each page individually.
