What does google news crawl?

    Hello,
    I saw google news and I initially intended that there will be news from the news sites only.But there is whole lot of content which is not actually a news.I wanted to know about two things.What does google news crawl?How do I benefit from it so I get traffic on my site?

    Google shows aggregated headlines and content from different news sources, if you've a blog and updating it regularly with fresh content there are chances to get noticed by Google news Crawler.
