What does Google AdSense bot do??

    After "analyzing" awstats I saw Google AdSense bot is one of my major Robots/Spiders visitors.

    1 What does Google adsense bot do??
    2 Is this good or bad?

    it will keep on visiting your site to check if there are changes to your site so it could also update the ads it is serving to your site.

    So it is a good thing or not?maybe the number of visitor visiting the websites should be decreased by this bot?
