It depends on the plan. Alot of sites offer some of the same plans but have different prices. Just look around you will find a deal.

Well it depends on you needs you might want hosting package with high bandwidth/space if you are looking have a site with larg files and havy users.

THere are many hosting providers out there, you might need to look at a couple and compare their services. As I indicated earlier you might want to take a look at my hosting packages the pricing/features are the same as GD.

If you have any question please ask.

here is a link to the hosting packages I provide compared to GD

I use godaddy for most of my names and find it excellent. To much clicking sometimes but that is fine I think.

    Go with Hostgator.com

I use them and they are the best.
Their support is excellent and they have the best hosting plans.

    Good luck!

interesting, it seems people on DP love hostgator, but I've noticed people on NP totally put it down because of bad experiences.

with hostgator, you have to pay $10 to get unlimited domains, but you can get that for $5-$6 from other hosts. actually, you can get reseller hosting e.g. jaguarpc.com for $20 a month and then sell 5 hosting accounts for $4 a month to have free hosting for yourself ( or obviously if you have say 5 friends to club together.... )

Xyphon, why don't you want to pay monthly? monthly is the lowest period I have seen, do you want to pay weekly? daily? I don't think you will find any hosts that do this, except maybe some resellers.
