Hey, I was just wondering what exactly happens when you get banned? Evidently it doesn't mean that you can't post or start threads on DP. I've seen lot's of threads and posts and it's said Banned right under their user name. So, if you can still be active on DP, then what does happen when you get banned? Just curious
If you get banned, you wont be able to do anything, those posts you mentioned was because the person posted them before they got banned.
Bans are formed for the prohibition of activities within a certain political territory. Some see this as a negative act (equating it to a form of censorship or discrimination) and others see it as maintaining the "status quo". Bans in commerce are referred to as embargos.
Thanks everyone for the replies. I thought that if you got banned you couldn't use DP until it expired or even ever again. I'd just seen "banned" so many times, I'd began to wonder. I didn't realize that it automatically put it under your user name on all posts or threads when you got banned. I thought people were still posting.
