What Does Everyone Think Of The New Digital Point Forum?

The lose of itrader feature is the hardest thing I faced here with the new design. If that is not back, then I am wondering how again I can built my image and trustworthiness back here....

 

terrible move locking out majority of the userbase from BST until they establish themselves. anyone know any other BST forums where SEO services are offered?

Feels bloated to me

 

It's not at difficult, you build the former "reps", they are now referred to as "likes". Simply make posts that are helpful to members or make a post that has wit or humor. Someone with 3 or more likes will appreciate it and give you a like. The way to do it quickly is to get into the habit of posting and becoming a contributing member of this site.
There was one member yesterday who has been on here for 10 years and had zero likes, yet he had the nerve to complain and thought that somehow he was a valuble member simply by virtue of his joining date!
I have received 13 such likes just this week, it really wasn't hard to get them at all.

 

Don't sad, just follow instructions of new DP setup and try to share quality posts and threads there to achieve 3 Likes.
After that you may deal freely with traders and create your good reputaion.

 

I really like it. its very nice and ease to use.

 

I think it was a great upgrade, I really like their angle at the design intent and I agree with the above that the I-Trader portion needed a modern re-vamp.

All in all, I'm impressed.

I also like the trophy system. That provides another way to reward dedicated users with an extra reputation.

 

The forum is Still not mobile optimised though.... Absolute nightmare trying to navigate around the site on your phone.
Come on dp, sort it ouuuutttttt.

 

I think it is a good move to get rid of itraders, it gives competition level equal with fresh ones.

No of Likes is better way to connect to other Seo's.

 

I think the new rule is really going well, the proof is in the forum link sales become more neat and orderly now. There was usually a lot of new users of that forum come and go and trading other people's blogs ar sites. I have just realized that it is indeed more stringent rules are made to benefit both parties either sellers or buyers. The buyers can deal directly with the owner of blogs or websites as well as blog owners can deal directly with advertisers without going through a broker. Let us support the new look of this forum, good luck guys

The site looks much better but I wish it had a responsive style sheet so DP would show up on my iPhone!

 

I like it but I'm a little annoyed. Has anyone else had the following problem? I've been a member here since 2007, posting sales threads or hiring other DP members for gigs, but all of a sudden since the new changes my privileges have been rolled back and I can't post in Buy/Sell/Trade and all the sections I used to be able to post in because I don't have enough likes all of a sudden.

Not a big deal but it is rather annoying, its not like I had infractions and had privileges rolled back, I was able to post fine and gained that ability to post years ago by contributing to the forum and giving feedback on others posts but now just because of the upgrade I need likes. Asked a mod about it to see if I could get it fixed/restored but nope.

So while I like the new site, I haven't exactly been able to give it a try and use the new features because of a lack of likes. I understand for new members but for someone who joined in 07 and currently has active posts in these sections from before it is rather annoying that I can't even go in and update/bump or respond to those.

Come on Guys...it's hard enough to get "likes" indeed but it will be harder if we try to get it with complaining everytime. No use to complain, the rules won't change...why don't we try to give something useful to this forum. Hei...I'm also trying to encourage myself by saying this

 

I just notice recently when I switch browsers and that DP seem to load slow in my firefox while fast in opera. However, I like the xenforo alert right on top since I could see which thread I have participated and that I don't have to search for it anymore or go to my users cpanel.

 

These Forums are to be recommended for the clean clear presentation. If you have to choose only one, then Digital Point is the one.
