It has its share of supporters, but as you said, it isn't used very widely.

Fees aren't that bad either-2.50% + .25 USD for a non credit card funded payment ( business account)

First i made an account on alertpay, i wasn't satisfied with it,then i shifted to paypal as more people use it.
But if you can't make a paypal account go for Alertpay.

AlertPay can't be trusted. It's quite new compared to PayPal. Also famous web sites use only PayPal

I really think Alertpay would soon replace paypal. Its popularity is increasing day by day, more and more merchants accepting Alertpay payments. However, the support is not that good (so its comparable to paypal again)

    Anyways, I'll go with Alertpay

Alertpay is one of the best payment processors. In the almost two years that I've had an account there, I never got a dispute, and I've always been happy with their service. My account has never been compromised either. They make it easy to send/recieve money too, no Paypal-type junk. IMO their verification process is fine, and they can obviously be trusted (no idea what mcwsinc is talking about...), but like Anti-scammer said the service is so-so. Nothing that won't improve with time though. So yea, go with Alertpay.

my account is verified there, as personal member they don't charge me any fee, so it's free to receive and send money from AP to AP.
verification only need for some high risk country(including my country).
and the verification is very easy.

I have been using AlertPay for couple of years and I have never faced any problems.

The only minus is that AP charges so big fees, 3$ per Bank Transfer, while PP takes only 1$.

But, I think that AlertPay is safer payment processor than PayPal, at least for seller. Each day I keep reading how people's PP accounts are getting freezed with stupid or without valid reason.

And btw, I just transferred 70$ to my Bank Acc, let's see how fast I will receive it ;)
