    I'll elaborate a little bit more. At the beginning of the auction, sellers set a starting bid price and a BIN. People start bidding, but if someone BINs it, the auction is over and you sell the site to them.

    Not every seller has got this concept right though. I've seen people who set a BIN price and then start accepting offers that are higher than the BIN even after someone's BINned it.

    I have also seen auctions where BID (Buy It Now) is the only price acceptable ... which abuses the whole point of the 'auction'.
