Hey everyone, I think I am quite different from the most part of the forum, because I am not trying to sell anything. It seems that nowdays everyone are writing articles for bucks one way or another (ads, affiliates, PR, etc.). I don't want that. I want to write actual articles, the cool stuff So - the reason I'm making this topic is to ask to those of you, who actually enjoy making quality articles - how do you get your inspiration to write articles ? I am pretty new at blogging, but I want to make a constant rate of articles (well...at least 1 per week...). Yes I have a few article types in mind that I will write (for example - tutorials), but that is not enough. I see there are awesome articles out there on the net, and I always think to me self - "I wish had that idea to write about".... any ideas how to come up with great ideas ?
First off it might be worth change your "My Portfolio" anchor text to "Creative Design" or some other keywords you want to target. If you are adding value to a forum you might as well get some additional benefit out of it. There is a difference between what you are doing and the spammers. If you know a lot about SEO and are actually targeting my portfolio then I am sorry. I am self employed so I am immersed in HTML, CSS, SEO on a daily basis which means that I regularly come up with blog/article titles. The one thing I do is write them down with a basic description of what would be in the blog post/article. At a later date I will either write out the article or get someone else to write it.
Mug, I am going to change my domain name soon anyway, decided on something else, so I guess my keywords aren't "creative design". The only thing I'd lke to google find me for would be php tutorial or wordpress theme, but the competition is way to sky high on that. Dunno, don't expect much traffic from google, because I just finished my portfolio/blog, it is going to take for years, before google actually lists it somewhere high enough.... p.s. I know almost nothing about SEO, and I'm don't try to look SEO up, because of the mess. 90% of the results are "make money with seo" or "do nothing while seo brings you money"...... this SEO Jazz....aaargh... I figure I'll build my blog slowly, and maybe in a few years I will have a few hundred readers, and get new readers with social media probably - writing cool articles that people would want to retweet or share on any other way...
