I posted a thread in politic & religion section about the project of building a dream city. The idea was do to discuss the project from social and economical aspect but an admin has moved the thread to web site review and has given me an infraction for posting in wrong section.
Who ever this admin was, obviously is not capable of comprehending the question and the post. Can someone move the thread back to the right section under the politic & religion again?

    This is the thread:

G, you mentioned "website" twice and this is what got your thread moved. You could always delete it and rewrite.

A good rule of thumb... if you pose a question that requires looking at a website, it's a review (not necessarily a review of DESIGN, but a review nonetheless).

First, I shouldn´t have used admin but moderator instead in the title. Your rule of thumb makes no sense, this is a complicated project so what do you expect me to do? Should I copy & paste the whole web site here so people can discuss it? I know that some of your moderator have a very hard time to admit to their mistakes, so can you please move the thread to the right section. I have already got infractions for "posting in wrong section", "attacking a member for this thread" and "bumping the thread" when I posted in original thread that should be moved back to politics & religion. With 4 infractions, I think I have earned it that thread should be moved.

Well, at least it give the little Hitlers a sense of power.;)
Is it possible to move the thread or should it be in wrong section because a moderator´s inability to comprehend the subject of the post and being too proud to admit it?

From a technical standpoint, yes... we have the ability to move threads if that's what you are asking?

It's currently in the correct location, so it won't be moved.

LOL. I am glad that you are loyal to your moderator but are you seriously saying that discussion about building a city is the same as review of website design?

Sorry but I am with gworld here. After reading the thread it's very clear it's not actually a review of a website, instead, it is a thought-provoking thread with regards to building your dream city. The website linked to simply provides much of the information. It's in no way a website review nor would anyone in their right mind consider it to be.

I do think however that making this thread and the language used within is inappropriate, gworld, you could've PM'ed a moderator about this instead of making a thread insulting them. That's just my thoughts, though.

No, if it was related to Website Design, it would be here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=144 (which it's not)

Thank you for the support but obviously the highest principal in moderation here is not to admit a mistake.

Nice way to change the subject but the post is not about a website review at all in anyway, it is about discussing what these people doing and building a city. By the way, there are many threads in politic & religion section that have links to CNN, BBC,.... May be you should ask one of the moderators to move all of them to the website review section so we can all review those websites. ;)
