I watch HD movies on the 10" epad tablet pc that I am selling check out my signature. The quality of the video is really great. And it supports HD quality. Very good quality.
I have a old 46" Vizio that lets me do that it also has 4 HDMI ports, 2 Component, 2 AV, and 1 pc plug. And one optical sound out put. Hooked up to a lg blu-ray 5.1 surround sound. It has PIP and with 3 sizes from corner to half the screen, and I canswitch sound from one to the other.
The main LCD TV is my 47" Sony Bravia, and use the LG Blu-ray 5.1 and a PS3 with media server to my computer and external hard drives or flash drives when friends bring over stuff.
I watch movies on my laptop sometimes but I have to have a fan pointed right at it or something because it gets too hot nowadays
Mostly i would like to use Laptop for movies. I have no T.V and home theater, so i prefer to use laptop. It is easy to keep and suitable for watch moves any where.
I have the same problem with a laptop that's about 3 years old its an Acer and it gets so hot i cant even have it on my lap. I make sure to put it on a glass table it disperses heat good.
Macbook Air (Late 2010 Model) with a brand new Apple LED Cinema 27"! Its really something for most of the stuff i do, not only movies!
