Yeah, I used notepad too when I start my website. But it is difficult in terms of web design because you need to estimate all the sizes of images, the position, and you need two separate programs to see your work.

Note pad is fun, but dreamweaver is the fastest specially in creating a dynamic page using PHP script

I design it with photoshop, then use dreamweaver to code it. I'm a very messy coder and can usually never get to WC3 standards. :p

LOL, same here. :D To correctly place my images, gradients, buttons and tabs I always mess my html code and make them hard to understand. Achieving WC3 standards almost impossible. I only can meet the WC3 standards if I won't include much of images and go for only and only for CSS for each and every color.

I use Adobe Photoshop for my raster-based graphics. I don't create logos, but I do have Adobe Illustrator on hand for just in case I need it (I'd have to re-learn how to use Illustrator, but that's beside the point).

For coding, I use Win32Pad (a free Notepad replacement) exclusively.

    Notepad

I've been considering using Dreamweaver's code view just to speed up the amount of time writing everything takes, but I just can't seem to force myself away from notepad :)
