    As the title suggests, I am interested in doing a personal web site and am wondering what most people use. I have FrontPage but my internet provider doesn't support it for some reason.

    I use dream weaver. Front page creates too much unwanted codes.

    Hand-coded in NotePad++ (Freeware)
    Nice highlighting and it recognizes all tags of html, php, sql etcetera.

    If I'm not using a template I hand code it. Although if I do use a template I still recode the html by hand. I hate front page but dream weaver is alot better then front page if you use a program.

    Notepad is always reliable.
    I also use Dreamweaver but sometimes what you see is not what you get.

    For simple designs that I do, I use to have Frontpage but recently shifted to Dreamweaver. Still in learning process though :)
