If you're not using something like BANS or a blog like Wordpress for your stores, what software are you using to build them?

You don't know what you use? If you use PHPbay Pro, then you're using Wordpress.

I haven't quite gotten into the datafeeds world yet. I'm looking for something that will let me easily create a navigational hierarchy a la BANS, but that I can use with something like POP Shops.

I have my own e-shop application. Based on .asp. Reliable and safe. It allows to run either as one e-shop or like a trading community with different traders/ retailers. I run Holmed market on it.

I have also tried scripts like popshop, Joomla, affilistore, PhpBay Pro, BANS. Personally, I found BANS easiest to use.

Having said that, the success of your site is not on the builder, but your marketing. You need to know how to drive targetted traffic to your site and convert them to sales. I like to long tail keywords around product brands/names/models as these keywords usually bring ready to buy traffic.

My little blog below elaborate more on this point. If you have questions let me know.

    SeoWarrior,

I use popshop with my Bans site. I have the middle popshops program and I use the php functions in my Bans site.

I also use popshops in my Wordpress sites, with the php-exec plugin.
