    I search for literally anything and everything.
    For example, if I'm watching TV and I see a feature about penguins then I might Google the word penguin. If I hear a name on the news I might Google that name. If I see a place on a map I might Google that place. You get the idea.

    I only use Google though, not a big fan of Yahoo search. :)

    I am actually writing a paper and made me realize the huge changes since the 1990's when websites we hard to find ! Do you find yourself searching for pages inside a well known site like wikipedia or searching for new websites ?

    when I do use SE, i search for references and articles to write my papers
    thats it most of the time

    or to access a website by not tyoping full url , i ue SE to type in name
