Of all the things Photoshop can do I find myself only using it for cropping photos and creating ebook covers. What do you use Photoshop for and what are it's most popular uses?
Photoshop is a professional graphic software. That includes photo editing for magazines, color correction (for print) and a gazillion other things. We web designers use it for web design, banners, icons, or whatever else is needed. The software itself is huge and covers an enormous range of uses however.
I use it for graphics. That is, after all what it is. I use it to create graphics such as buttons, bullets, etc. I also use it to create headers and banners. I use to tweak stuff I snag off of the web. I use it to tweak or otherwise alter graphics in themes and templates. Sometimes I use it to change the file type of other graphics. I also use it to create animated gifs. I also use it for side jobs like artwork and separations for screen printing jobs. I also often start a graphic in CorelDraw and then finish it in Photoshop.
photoshop is used for all kind of designing solutions... like logo design, banner design, template design, photo editing etc etc etc....
Sorry but this post does not belong into this subforum... should go here -> http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=121
design mockups, photo manipulation and corrections, logo design, illustration, shirt design, list goes on...
We use photoshop for creating web designs , Banners, logos ,and brochuer and flyers and also for creating Images for facebook pages and cropping and retouching the pics.
We don't use Photoshop at all and haven't for many years. It's way over priced for most needs on the web. Instead, we use the Gimp which does everything others pay Photoshop to do.
I love to draw in photoshop as well and i want to learn it as much as i can and in future i wana be expert in it...
