Why would I want to open up a second application to upload a file I just edited?

Although I realize Dreamweaver (and other IDE apps, like Quanta) don't have uber-powerful FTP functions, they do exactly what I need.

I edit a file. I click on it. I hit "Upload" or "Put" and it gets uploaded. I don't waste time opening a second application.

Increased productivity = Better application. No need to knock built-in FTP utility.

Filezilla. The only thing that annoys me about it is that it keeps logging out automatically. Plus, you have to input your login details every time you launch.

WEBDRIVE!!! It is, in my experience, the best ftp program out there. It treats your ftp sites like an external harddrive of sorts. Especially handy for graphics design. I simply edit my photoshop files, and then save for web & devices straight to the server in one step. I have used it for years and have only had problems twice, both times of which, tech support was BEYOND helpful and even upgraded my version FOR FREE
