How about putting the large rectangle on top.

 

Yup, you should make a border or horizoal ruler to divide your ads and your content.

 

That large rectangle should go above the fold.

Or maybe a skyscraper on the left, with your 3 main listings "Most Popular", "Recently Added" and "Recently Updated" on the right.

 

If at all dont wanna place rectangle, then move the logo to the middle.

I think the ads are too OBVIOUS. You may not get as many clicks as you would if they looked more like content.

 

mysfyt is right. I suggest you to put one link unit under top menu
