According to my experience XML site map is generally for search engine crawler not for any visitor. It helps crawlers to find all important url of the website. It allows webmasters to include extra information about each URL. This allows search engines to crawl the site more wisely.

 

XML sitemap is only for search engine because here we listed all the important pages of website in XML coding form at a single page and when crawler moved at page index most of web page at same so value and weight of website going up.
