Really, most of the people have already said it, but I'll reinforce. 1) A tribal tattoo like that has no meaning to most people, and I'm willing to bet it means nothing to you other than "It looks cool". 2) Just because something looks cool to you at 17 or 18 does not mean you will like it even a little bit at 30 or 40. Tattoos are almost permanent, and removal of a stupid mistake hurts and costs a ton and leaves ugly scars behind. 3) Tattoos cost a lot, and most of that money can be put to a much better use. 4) It's your body, do what you want, but don't say we didn't warn you.
You might say it's cool to have tattoos, but I think they look very good only in pics...in real they don't leave my a good impression....people with tattoos look cheap to me
I guess the OP would have expected replies like " cool dude, hot tattoo, amazing " LOL, I guess he is regretting opening this thread now !! P.S : If you have got it already, I like it mate !! If you havent, then don't get it !!
Eww....I don't think that it looks cool. There are far more important things to do than just getting a tattoo to celebrate your 18th birthday. Just my opinion, somehow.
someone should invent digital tatoos so it can be changed and removed anytime then we won't have this discussion
I wouldn't get a tribal tattoo at a young age. I'm 18 and have 6 tattoos and lucky enough to only regret having one. 5 of them have a lot of meaning to me.
My opinion is do not get one. Expression comes from the inside out. If you need outside help to express yourself, then you should to learn to communicate better. If you just HAVE to get one, give yourself 5-10 years to have a few real experiences first, and do NOT get the example you posted. It looks like a tattoo I added to my character in 'Fable'.
It looks awesome - but I think it's waaaay to big! Don't do it. Unless Tattoo is your biggest passion ever ...
You really have to think about it...i mean, really think about it. I've got a sleeve on my right arm, a sleeve on my leg from foot to knee, and my back is covered. I spent a hell of a long time considerning what i wanted done, i got the best artist i could find, i spent a foruture (NEVER get a cheap tattoo) and everything i have means something significant to the three main moments in my life so far. As for the folk who think its 'wrong' to get tattooed, its a personal thing. there is no right or wrong. as for the particular design your looking at - tribal is terribly cliched, late ninties nu-metal kids have it, if it has a meaning though, and you've made your mind up then fair enough....
I think ouch that would have really hurt. I agree with everyone that said save you money and don't bother.
