What do you think of this idea? Online scrapbook... Pick a design(create your own?) and then on each page on the scrap book you just drag your picture to the placeholder... Just a very premature idea, but do you think this sort of thing could gain popularity?
There are already a lot of people doing digital scrapbooking. You could tap the market of people with not enough knowledge to do it, since it involves using GIMP or Photoshop since your way would be easier. Hmm, if you try contacting people selling digital scrapbook papers and ask for templates that would link back to them, and they link to you... There's something there.
Do it with flash. Have it be able to import images/clipart as well as drawing tools, stencils, and all that other scrapbook jazz. Then let them save the pages of their scrapbook as PDF's so they can print the pages off their home computers. There's actually quite a strong revenue potential here if you do it right. I thought about it a long time ago, my wife is really big into scrapbooking so I get to see all the different products and stuff they use.
