This is an idea for a reality show.
I can't really do anything withi t except i guess tell the networks and see if they like it.

There are 10 guys/girls who are millionares, parents are millionares, X-CEO's, (very successful people) and maybe 1 guy in huge debt.

They get all put in one big apartment and get $1000 (as a loan which they will pay big % on). They will also have to pay $1000/month as rent for the apartment... due in 2 weeks. They also maybe get Wallsteet Journal etc. subscriptions which they will have to pay for as well. And of course they also have to pay for food etc.

Ok... so the challenge is to be the first of the 10 people to get X amount of money.... maybe $100,000. They can't use their company or any past connections they may have. Also a thought... they can't even do any work for the area of business they specialize in or have worked under previously. They will be video taped so they obviously won't be able to cheat.

There will also be challenges every week where the winner gets their money doubled and the loser gets money cut in half. In the challenges you get bonuses depending on how much money you have... (person who has the most money at the time gets 1 hour lead etc.) If a person loses two challenges he leaves the game.

    --------------------------------

So... what do you people think? Good idea? If I get some good responses, I'll finalize/retype everything to make it sound nice and send it to all TV networks... maybe it can actually become a show :)

    Any feedback is appreciated :)

Heh forgot about the winner. He gets money (one million if he can afford it) and fame of course. Maybe BusinessWeek will be a sponsor and winner will be listed in front cover... that will be a good addition.

maybe half rich kids and half poor kids. then you get a little competition going on.
i think taking half their money away might be a little harsh, maybe a percentage of it would be better.

yea maybe... but that's just small things.. how is the overall idea?

With the rich people i felt people like:
    - EX-CFO of Enron
    - One Of Donald Trump's Kids
    - 19yr old kid who started his own company at 13 and now is a millionare
    - Ex-Ceo of another Fortune 500 Company
    - Rich guy from Russia
    - Guy whoes parents are richest family in Austria
    - 3 random millionares
    - guy who started his business but failed... now $50,000 in debt.
    - random guy who has an average job and average life
