Chevy lost over 25 years ago seeing as how the F 150 has been the best selling truck for over 25 years running.
Actually in this little budget you can't expect more Price is affordable, average is also good,Interior is so so, but its not good for long drive as its drawback is speed which is only 90 kmph DON.
It doesn't target those guys who want to zoom on state highways breaking speed barriers. It is made in mind keeping the Asian, Latin American and African markets, where the roads aren't really that good to zoom at 100 km/h +. So speed isn't really a deterrent. It has decent mileage -20 km/ litre +. For the price that it is being sold at, it seems to be a good buy. I'm worrying about the impact that this will have on fuel prices. If this car does end up breaking sales records in India and China, fuel prices are bound to rise.
Did anyone else think it was the car the guys in the Wii commercials drive when they first saw it? Those cars look almost exactly alike.
I love to get my hands on it .. Simply getting it soon Lets first use it and than we can decide hows it .. isnt it?
If im honest the whole car looks like a crumple zone! So really its not that cheap if you die from it!
I think it's a great accomplishment. Tatas have revolutionized the concept of designing a product ground up for the audience it is intended for as opposed to bringing from somewhere else to adopt to local market. Given Tatas track record, I expect it to be a great success. Regarding pollution, the car supposedly pollutes less than the other motorcycles/scooters that are already on the roads? How can that be bad. But i would worry about the lack of infrastructure and already congested traffic in metros etc.
There are plenty of cheap cars around, which give much better mileage, and protect the environment at the same time. Still for poor people a nice option.
i sort of like this car, speed is the only bothering factor here. And now a days the roads are filling up as such we cant generate much speed.
eslsociety ---shock horror--- being a Vespa and Lambretta enthusiast to think of "replacing" them with the nano nano mobile is a crime in its self.
Yeah, actually I agree . . . I'm a big fan of both scoots and have owned a couple over the years, as well as a few other vintage scooters at different points. What do you think of the Stella's?
Nice modern day scooter with old style look but im not a big fan of the PX which the Stella is based on. God never intended for scooters to have indicators! and the horncast looks horrible, but thats just my opinion. I have a nut and bolt restored Vespa Sprint and a Lambretta LI 150 Series 2 both up for sale to pay for a restoration project on a genuine Italian TV 175 I found recently with many Innocenti parts still intact. That one I will never sell. I really love these old scooters there part of history especially the whole 60's thing. I always think I was born 30 years to late, would of love to been a teenager/20 something in the 60's !
