What do you think of the government giving 30,000 guns to Mexican drug gangs?

Before posting at least read part of this. I read it all and it's pretty interesting. It even speaks of this being an open, public fact that not everyone knows, but is on record. I'm going to look more into this, but I can see it really happening. Very unsettling and screwed up if you ask me. What are your opinions on this?

This is one of those "it seemed like a really good idea at the time" screw-ups. Like most of them it didn't turn out as planned.

I wasn't sure since this isn't brand new. I just thought I'd give it a try. No big deal. I'll go look for it through the pages since I didn't see it right away.

I didn't have to read that far to realize the writer of this article has no clue as to what he's even talking about.

    uh, no.

    Skipped the rest of it...

It pisses me off big time. Adding insult to injury (and death), the government was trying (but didn't succeed largely thanks to the NRA) to use border violence as an excuse to ratchet up restrictions on gun ownership.
