I grew-up among asian, latinos, blacks, whites, indians, arabs...pretty-much anyone you can think about I knew. I never really thought about race when I was a child. It's really odd to look back at those pictures, because as children it's all so innocent, and nice.

So when I hear of politically race-based caucuses...I feel a bit sick.

I thought these were rather reasonble views by Tom.
A congressional member of a race-based caucuse says:
Let's throw in the race-card. The man's apparently racist because he's arguing for a colorblind society!?

Apparently his comments were prompted by:

Sorry 'whitey'. Apparently you can't join the wahhabism caucuse, either. Too bad, your skins apparently too light.

I recongnize the racism of the past, but we still sanction this now. It's just pc to allow race-based groups...as long it's not 'whitey'.
