    PR is beneficial only if you want a good selling price for your domain/website.
    Even an unwanted website can get better PR if it starts getting backlinks through comments and stuff.
    Alexa rank and DA is what matters.

    Page Rank Algorithms means the Link Analysis concept as you can say that it is the numerical value which is assigned by Google to Interlinked hypertext Document in the worldwide.

    I never think about page rank. I just focus on my on-page (Placing right keyword as per relevancy and adding quality content) and off-page(Build links on quality websites) work and if you will done both of them correctly then definitely you will get high page rank. Note: Achieving high page rank always takes time.
