I can only suggest how do you get the Higher PageRank.
1. Unique Content
2. Proper on page optimization
3. Quality back links :- Forum posting, directory submission, article submission, blog commenting, social bookmarking, theme based one way links.
4. User & robot friendly Navigation.

Page Rank google give you rank based on credibility of your site or webpage on eyes of google. It play a role in ranking of search engines and to increase page rank of our site we need to do link building of our site and it is desirable to have a link from site that having some pr and belong to our same theme

it totally sucks... I have seen pages that rank higher than 4 and they are total rubbish

 

page rank doesnt count that much in your website position , but you should make sure to add such keywords and good optimization , that your link comes always on the first page for the related contents

Page Rank is important for big websites to get archived fast and earn more money from advertising by using the high page rank.
In my own opinion, Page rank has nothing or less to do with appearing first at search engines.

it will increase our site page rank.

I believe that Page Rank provides quality of website pages. If you submit your site in high PR websites, your site quality increases and also you also get more backlinks from the other high PR sites. So, you should always prefer high PR sites.

page rank can be manipulated.. i dun believe it tells u about the quality of the sites ..

 

page rank shows quality of a site.we should submit the content in high pr sites so that we can get backlinks in high pr site from that we can gain high pr.we should use the appropriate keywords in the submission of content.

 

...or pr show how many $ the owner of website invested in links ^^
