We're happy to have it launched after 2 months of designing and 4 months of developing. What do you think? Luxury Brand Marketing Firm's Website http://www.drsandassociates.com/
Great design, however... The contrast between text and background on the drop down menu needs sorting out. With a light background like that it would make more sense to have dark text links. jots in the navigation needs a capital J unless it's a branding thing - still I think it would look better with the capital. About DRS on the home page, I'd split this into two paragraphs to make it look a little more readable. I think there is space to make the youtube video on the home page a little bigger, it's tiny at the moment. Consider bringing the news to the middle and dropping the video on the right - might work, might now. I would underline or darken the links in the news section of the home page, make it obvious to the user. I think it's worth trying to put a margin above the main content and breaking the white away from the top of the site. It may prove to be a slight improvement on the design, worth a try? Definetley one of the better sites I've seen on here so far, good work my man.
Thank you times 2 - one for the compliment and another for these critiques. I've already implemented a few of these changes and will definitely consider the majority of the rest at the next update!
No problem, message me or reply here if you need anything else from me. Let me know when you update it again.
I love the design, very nice. On the bottom of the page when clicking privacy policy and newsletter. Jots is still called DRS blog at the bottom. I like the idea of jots but I clicked out of curiousity not because I was looking for your blog. Maybe changing the name to jots blog or something to avoid confusion. Also the audio that plays on the homepage apparently loops. (Kinda annoying) I'm just an end user and don't know much. Best of Luck, redli0n82
Looks great, is Concrete5 a commercial CMS? EDIT: scratch that concrete5.org free! if this is the right one
Thanks, fixed those links. The flash was really a pain because we were doing a bunch of things with JS & Flash, but ended up throwing that on there for a somewhat temporary fix. But I do agree, that is annoying.
