What do you think of names with US at the end?

Hi guys,

I was wondering what do you think of domains with US at the end, as an abbreviation for United States, although I suppose there is also a double meaning type element, are they any good? I don’t mean the .us extension but names like computingus.com or energyus.com, ect.

I can't see any benefit in ...us.com - if you're after good ratings in SE look for meaningful keywords with big searches numbers and compare with allintitle: competition. If you need more in-depth description how to make right decision on search/allintitle balance, pls pm me

 

These wont do anything specialy

Get some with Nice keywords and so.. so that it would help you in SEO

 

Are there some specific features of the domain names with "us" at the end? I don't think so.
these domains are just as same as other common domain names.

All in all I don't look on .us any more favorable than I do .com or .net - I suppose it depends on the content of the website, but generally speaking...

 

I personally don't like the .us. It's better to use it as a prefix: uscomputing, usgaming or wtvr the name is but i doubt those kind of names are available.
