Hello Everyone, I, along with a friend, have created this rather unusual website about hairdressers located in the greater london area. Funny thing is though, that we are both from Denmark and don't know anything about cosmetics, hair extensions, the fashion scene and so on, so we find it sort of hard to write articles related to our niche. We have in average 10-25 visitors pr. day, which is unfortunate. I have added our website to multiple london directories, major search engines and so on. I have even submitted our sitemap to yahoo and google. This was done about 2 weeks ago, and yet it doesn't seem like anything is happening. We're making $1-3 a day. We initially planned making significantly more than that We are willing to make any kind of change and are open to all kinds of suggestions. Shoot! Go! What do you think? What should we do? All constructive criticism is appreciated. website: http://all-hairdressers-london.co.uk Thank you!
I love the site design and navigation. If you are looking for organic traffic what keywords are you trying to aim for? Anyway I can get this template? Thanks
Nice work. Can i have that template. I like your ad placement. wht do u think about my blog. It is about INTERIOR.
Truely speaking..this is very basic design and not enough to hold visitors. This kind of website structures are good for search engines but not able to hold a visitor for a logn time. Improve the design and add some design elements to it. Go to "webdesign-affordable dot com" and see their website templates. Purchase theme and use it on your site. Your site will definitely earn $$$ for you ..
Template? why do all these people think I downloaded this design? we spent hours designing and programming it, i am not just giving it away, I might sell it, but that's another story
Wow, I am giving up on DigitalPoint, I now genuinely believe that there are no modest people active in this Forum. I can't believe that I got 10 replies and none of you guys answerede my inexplicably easy question. jesus christ
Wow, giving up on the site after 20 posts? Maybe you should remember it's the Christmas holidays and digitalpoint is most likely not the first thing on people's minds. Decent site, but I had to search for navigation. Your ad placement was clever, but if the user has to search around for what to click on to get useful information they most likely won't come back. Focus less on SEO optimization and more on giving a great user experience once the visitor gets to your site. Return traffic is the best kind of organic traffic you can have: a loyal reader.
I like it, interactive design good job. Directory submission is not real time effect, You will see the effect and results in few mouths. Btw are web designers ?
Hi Alvand. 1) I would put the Next Page link at the bottom 2) SEO...i.e. build search engine traffic. You've built a good site but you haven't done much traffic building judging from your first post. I am sure you are aware of SEO having built a site like that if not, read about it. 3) Maybe using image ads is better for your site i.e. for text heavy sites the images are likely to attract and provide a higher ctr
