In the slide show at the top of the page, shorten the description, its running past the bottom of the box. The stripped background is a little rough on the eyes. Your home page is missing the meta description and meta keywords, which is common for wordpress themes.
The reason why the meta doesn't show up is because, I just haven't enabled my plugin yet. And thanks. I'll try to get a new background. EDIT: I got a new background.

I can't find anything really wrong with it. So I say you did a hell of a job. Nice post by the way I have you booked marked now.
The theme is fine. I wouldn't put so much of a post on the homepage though. Consider showing a snippet of each post and then some sort of "read more" button. Scrolling through the homepage I couldn't tell where one post ended and another began. Good luck!
