I already have a few people who are interested in giving me capital. Tell me what you think. I have an idea for a social network. (like Myyearbook, Ibeatyou) It is called "I'd Love To Be" It is a social network where people who aspire to be something can connect. People go to the website and type in what they want to be ( a chef, kickboxer, artist, singer, etc). They are then given a profile page, in which they can customize. and at the top of everyone's profile it will read "My name is _____ and I'd Love To Be A ________. On your profile page, you can upload videos, pictures, and communicate with other users. Lets say you want to be a professional chef. You can upload pictures of your recipes and even upload videos of you making a certain dish. On everyone's profile page, there will be a status bar that will tell other users how far you are in completing your goal of becoming a certain thing. Also, there will be a section where professionals can sign up. These are people who actually are what the users inspire to be. They can give tips to the users and communicate with them.
This sounds like a great idea! A useful addition would be tracking down 'experts' in the specific fields to help mentor the users. For instance, wouldn't it be great if an inspiring cook could communicate on your social network with an actual professional cook, getting feedback, direction, praise, etc.? I really like your idea!
Thanks! That really means alot. Yeah, I said that in the paragraph. I'm going to have a section just for professionals. The users can talk to and contact the professionals for advice and among other things
here is a mockup of what the site would look like. I have drawn it out on a piece of paper and that one looks much better. I drew this one in paint. http://i693.photobucket.com/albums/vv291/kenny17995/Idlovetobe.png
Sounds interesting to me... but I feel I have seen such a site before.. but its hard to recollect... So that means there is scope in here... best of luck...
