I recently just made a new logo for my site, Slyvisions.com. Check it out and let me know what you think?
I'd say its a bit too dark, the blue does not match the blue used in the rest of the blog so i'd go with something lighter like the blue used for "get reviewed by this blog for...". I'd make the grey border white and thicker and the outer black/grey border lighter and slightly thinner
The blue color I use is exactly like the same hex color I use for the rest of the theme. About the border and the stroke, I'll try to fix that according to your tips. Thanks.
Fixed the color problem. Now I just need to figure out the best color for the slogan under the logo. What would be a good one?
Thanks guys. Anyway, does anybody want to make one for me? I also want to see what others can do, and I'll pay the designer that makes the best logo.
Looks great. Just a couple of comments, and you don't need to change it, but just something I thought would be cool. 1) Not very Web 2.0 like, Most blogs are trying to get the web 2.0 feel, so you should try that. Especially for a tech blog. 2) The V on visions, and the is aren't very readable. Try another font, because its actually pretty mashed together. Hope this helps, and rep is appreciated.
Thanks tushardhoot1. I have just finished tweaking it around, and now has that web 2.0 look to it. Check it out.
Wow, its much easier and better to read. 8/10 Another web 2.0 aspect you can add is to add like a little reflection thing at the bottom.
I don't think it would work for my site. By the way, what do you use for your own designing? Photoshop or Illustrator?
You think you can make me one? This one I currently have is still not final, so if anyone has a better one that I can use, I might just go ahead and pay you for it. Impress me with what you got!
I honestly think the inner glow effect makes the font a bit hard to read.. maybe some sleek glossy web 2.0 style effect instead. Portraying "sly" into the logo would be ideal
