Yes, it's really not in an "opinion-making" state at the moment - I'd call it more (crippled) alhpaware, though the difference between that and the final release may not be that great, given our past experience with M$ browsers ...
Iam using Chrome, and for me is the best using in heavy sites, with lotes of js. And and some sites not compatible with Chrome i use FF, like in here DP. Kiss
The Platform Preview of Internet Explorer 9 will run only in Windows 7, Windows Vista Service Pack 2 (SP2) and Windows Server R2. I found it far speedier than earlier versions of IE, and faster than Firefox.
No it's not. Even Microsoft posts speed tests on their IEBlog showing it's twice as slow as Firefox and even slower than that compared to other browsers.
I agree. My personal favorite Firefox. One of the great things about Firefox is that it is open-source software. Plus, the many plug-ins that are available are awesome. Most web developers use Firefox for this very reason. There are plugins for Firefox you simply can't get for any other browser application.
Or are paid by Microsoft to evangelize (cause god knows it ain't gonna "sell" based purely on it's own merits).
Oh come on, you know Microsoft would rather roll out more "Anti-Phishing protection, our idea!" adverts than pay people to say they like IE9.
OMG!! You mean, it wasn't their idea?? Next you'll be telling me they didn't invent mice, DOS or graphical user interfaces ...
Hope it will be better bcz i hate internet explorer. Firefox is every green, chrome is also going to good but not up to the level of mozilla firefox
I used Firefox or Internet Explorer 8, IE 8 is very good. but about IE-9 ? I review it when I will use it.
I have given up on 'IE' long time back. I did try to upgrade the version once and the problems I faced then.... were enough for me to never risk another try! IE 9 or 10 or whatever... this product would always remain a taboo to me! Regards, RightMan
