    It's not so good if you want people to type in your domain name ... because even if they remember your domain name, it isn't likely they will remember that it ends with .INFO. Most of them will type in .COM.

    Go for it. .info TLD's make perfect sense with blogs too... as they are primarily information based sites.

    The whole .com only mentality is slowly starting to die away. The new TLDs are perfectly acceptable.

    .info is much cheaper than .com and thats why they are being used more often these days!
