As people are beginning to discover Clickbank has revamped its website. And one of the first things you see on the log-in page is an image of a dog, saying "Log in!" I do not know if Clickbank has an official name for this dog - I have decided to name it "Clicky." So, do you like "Clicky?" I don't know what the dog represents and how this image relates to the service Clickbank provides. It is sorta cute, I guess, but it does not say "Professional" to me. Maybe I will get use to it, but does anyone one know why Clickbank went with the dog? Does it work for you?
I wish they'd devote as much time and effort into fixing Analytics. Now they have a new fluke in the Transaction Search page. I could care less about graphics, color or cutesy crap, I'm in this for the money and with that I need accurate reports. That's what works for me.
Heh, that dog just looks so random on the login page. It doesn't bother me, but I have no clue as to why they decided to put it there. Maybe the Clickbank CEO's kid likes drawing or something. Cel
LOL --- it looks like the lovechild of a chimpanzee and a retriever... Honestly, I have to tell you guys the secret about "Clicky" the dog. Clicky was put on Clickbank's sign in page as a constant reminder to affiliates - "YOU MUST BE LOYAL!! LIKE DOG!! AND SMART!! LIKE CHIMP!!" It's all some kind of subliminal campaign going on to make affiliates mindless zombies... pretty soon when someone asks you your name in public, you'll find yourself spitting out the address of the hoplink you most recently promoted... Sorry Clickbank - I had to spill the beans... I couldn't hold it any longer.
I would have to agree on this, because as soon as I looked at the dog, I noticed the sponsored links and just had a look at them. With the old login page, I completely ignored them. Pretty good advertising. Though, as someone above mentioned, the should devote time and effort to fixing up analytics. Dim.
