Far too many images on the front page, I'd suggest having a separate page for each category instead of listing every game on one page.
Why would there be a problem with many images on the first page? And there is a separate page for each category, the front page only shows a few games from each category
Because it takes a long time to load, even on a broadband connection. It's not just the size of the images, it's the fact that a HTTP request is required for each and every one.
ya it is taking a lot of time. better keep diff. actegories in diff. pages and then inter-relate them
Very simple and plain. The background is a little bit annoying for the eye (too much blue). Think about header (graphic) and footer (text). There must be space between allthegames.net, the navigation and the ads. Use hover for the navigation to better indicate the links. You may use orange color for allthegames.net because blue and orange go along/match. If you need help with the design of the header PM me, I have some experience .
Well I guess you have a point. But the idea of the design is that you should just focus on the games and the feeling should be that they are never ending. but I try with a little fewer links, but not to few or do you think this is also too much?
Maybe learn some flash and jazz that site up a little. Loads of cool games, i agree with that, but it looks pretty boring. Besides my comments, nice little site -K
I already know flash, but I'm not too good with designing things I still want to keep the site quite simple since the site was just a test from the begining as I wanted to see how important content realy is, and after this site has been up for a little more then a month and I allready have around 4000 pageviews on weekdays I dont think it is as important as some people make it sound...
