what do you think is the post profitable website type?

what do you think is the most profitable website theme or type?
I mean is it forums, directories, blogs, video host, dating, image host .....

for me i think forums and articles websites
they kind of build them selves

 

Niche blogs are most profitable according to me .

 

For me, blogs are better than forums and hosting sites.

Forums by nature are the worst business model on the internet.
That is already a well-known theory as many have tried and failed to make money with them.
Shawn was a pioneer in this niche- that is one of the reasons it works for him.
Few niches are left to "pioneer" with forums.

Probably blogs, but it does depend who is behind them and other "minor" details. But I do feel that blogs probably have the most possible ways of working, which means a better chance of success for each unique individual.
