I have an internal page of PR5. I link my internal page to main page.

However, my main page dropped from PR3 to PR2.

    Funny right?

are you trying to say this shouldn't happen? So i should wait until next update and I should be able to see a PR5 for my main page right?

You must have happened to got some good links to that internal page. There's not much you can do about it other than get more links to your homepage. It could be a good thing though if that page targets a good keyword.

If you created a nice content and lots of sites linked to it that very normal. Try to find where did you get that backlinks from. They have great value

there are two things to consider.
1- wait till the next update take place and the PR will drop.
2- Your PR 5 internal page might have some good links pointing to it.

    Thanks,

The only rational explanation for this is that your inner page has some
high quality backlinks pointing to it, your pr may or may not drop at
    the next pr update.
