What do you think is the best backlink building plan?

Also don't think that article distributions or link schemes that send a article to hundreds of blogs will work. These pages hardly ever get indexed on the blogs they go on. Plus you don't want your links on a bunch of peoples sites who are grasping at straws.

Forum posts don't work either. Look. Everyone has these links on their signatures. But look at the pages they're on. These pages get archived and not indexed.If you have seo quake installed on firefox you can see that they have no google cache date. That means google will never see the links. So whats the point.

 

So what do u think? according to u which are the best link building tactics?

 

How come nobody said "write good content"? That's the best plan. Then again, these days I guess that's overrated, what with directories, article marketing, social bookmarking, etc.

I'll tell you one thing that doesn't work, and that's regurgitating the same article on 400 article directories filled with copies of other articles just like it.
