    Imagine

You have a PR4 Website with a few pages of PR3, PR2 and so on.

Now you plan to sell links...
You sell around 10 site-wide links.

Now just image you open the site after say 1 year! What will be the PR of the site (Homepage)? Imagine everything else remains the same, the back-links etc etc.

    Please use the POLL!

Impossible to tell, they factor limit is to great. Below is just an idea of different things you would need to take into account.

    1. Current Pagerank of each backlink
    2. How much Pagerank value each backlink pass out to you.
    3. How much Pagerank value each backlink pass out to you w/ other outbound links.
    4. How well is the internal structure of the said web site and it's web pages.
    5. What is the Pagerank value of internal web pages point to home directory at that time.

That's just skimming the surface, please review the below article to see the actual Pagerank algorithm (theory ofcourse).
