It seems like every god dang good domain on this planet has
been registered, or they cost a billion dollars...

So I am looking for a couple domains that contain my keywords...
and I run across us.com domains...so I go to their site...
    http://www.us.com

so I looked up their example sites at the bottom of the site on google...

I was not very impressed since they are brand companies using us.com
like activia.us.com and the google results were meager at best...
and at least one of the domains had low results showing it was
registered back in 2003 - so what the hell is up?

    what do you guys think?

can anyone say that they have a successful us.com domain?

Tbh 200%, I personally didn't hear of that company before.
.us.com just reminds me of .cn.com, but still, I stick to the short and top domain, while not a second-level.

Hold on, look at the bottom of the website.... Ah, I see, CentralNIC, actually, this company is both Registrar and Registry, have good reputation in China, their Head of Business Development expressed her interest in partnering with us at ICANN 46th Meeting in Beijing.

I have been online a lot of years, and I have seen posts giving us.com bad press as
far back as 2004, and to this day, I do not ever seeing a us.com must less visiting
one, they must be given the low priority possible by google; I was doing some searching
and at one post, going through 10 pages, I found one us.com indexed like on page5....
and seeing the constant bad press I see about us.com domains, I can clearly see why....
