Doesn't work for me.
Maybe becasue my site is very graphical.
The first time i tried this was 2 years ago.
And after this post i tried it agian.

WITH THE SAME RESULT.

I get the same amount of clicks, but 30 percent go to the image and only pay 3 cent. normally i get betwen 20 and 30 cent.

 

i'm pretty sure you'll get banned as soon as you get near the magic $100 level with adsense

 

Textbook bannable offense if the OP was actually seriously keeping their ads up like this.

The trick or idea is good, I think. Though it's against TOS. Using the ads with images I agree with "lycos". The title "Recently Popular Tutorials" above the ads goes against TOS, that should be "Sponsored Ads". It needs a little change to stay safe.

 

of course it against of Tos, look adds are under title recently popular tutorials. this is cheating
