Hi all... I have been an active "unregistered" user of this forum for a few weeks, but decided it was time create a real profile... Looking forward to getting social with everyone =D

I created and registered my very first squeeze page and .com domain, so I would really like to hear what everyone have to say about it! I have already started to advertise it, but I am going to create my own youtube video to replace the one that is there atm (bought a HD camcorder this week :O)

(cant post "real" links yet, so bear with me that you have to copy-paste it to the address bar :p )

    howtomodyourwii.com

    I myself think(and hope...) that it has a very high sales/hop! :)

Since I'm the creator of homebreware, which is one of the products you're promoting I know a lot on the subject.

You have some stuff about zelda remove them, the latest homebreware update will work without Zelda.
Also, you have basically explained the whole process on your page, there won't be much reason for the user to buy the product since you're giving it all away.

Don't overload the user with tehnical info, they might think it's too hard, and get discouraged.

What I recommend is for you to do something like this site: wiiunlock.net

It is a perfect example of what a landing page should look like.
Of course, you shouldn't copy the site, but you could do something similar.

Clearly list the benefits and the features of the product, tell the user that this is very easy to do, even for a technical novice.

Create urgency, make the user want to act now, rather than later. You can do this by stating that homebreware is on a limited discount which is going to last for a day or two, or something like that, so they better act sooner rather than later.

Just a few tips, hope they'll help you

Yeah I know the squeeze page is kinda alternative. Rather than playing on human emotions and stuff like that I wanted to make it look very technical and trustworthy. I will give it a shoot for a month or two and look at the conversion rate. If I don't like the results I might as well return to the good old standard squeeze page formula that you showed me :) I just find my current squeeze page to be something I would buy through myself - I really believe that it will convert the more discriminating audience!

Seems like I was right. Durring the weekend I had 30 hops which converted into 6 sales. Can't ask for much more - time to get some traffic to the site! XD

Congrats on your success, that's a great conversion rate, but you have to look at your clickhtrough rating on your squeeze page, Aim for at least 40% of people clicking through the affiliate products

Hi KasperKnop, you show your users the easiest way to do that and they understand you well, that helps convert. It is a smart way to earn money.

Accually I think squeeze page is normally used as landing pages created to solicit opt-in email addresses from prospective subscribers. Might not be the right term for me to use. Maybe pre-sales page is better!

Squeeze page is actually a type of landing page used for capturing users e-mails.

Landing page is the right term

I like the way you presented the information... btw i found a spelling mistake at the bottom of your landing page: "Now stop waistin' your time here"

squeeze page - you squeeze an email out of it.
pre-sale page- you make claims about it
review page - you just compare them
landing page- all the above three are landing ages.
