    Hi

I have a strange issue with google and I am posting here maybe an experienced webmaster can guide me.

Due to an error on my website script (pagination), it generated +25k pages all with the same content and internal links located on the standard website menu. Google indexed them.

Exactly on 04th February I lost ranking for the keywords from the website menu. Do you think it is some kind of sandbox? The URL still ranks but not for the keywords from the menu. I think this is due to the 25k duplicate pages automatically generated by the website and indexed by google? On those 25k pages I have internal link with anchor text and exactly for those keyword I lost the rank from page 1 to page 400 or 500. Maybe google was thinking that I create a lot of duplicate pages with internal links to make the website look bigger and sandboxed it?

Does it happened to anyone else? For example gOogle to index a lot of more internal pages than your website actually have? (due to an error or bug inside the php script)?

    Thank you!
