What do you think about the widespread use of nofollow?

Agreed, you can save yourself from unnecessary work this way but isn't this work anyways?

 

A well-thought comment should be rewarded with link love. For those who are using Wordpress as their blogging platform, they should install the dofollow plugin and spread the good things of link love.

 

I think its out of control. I understand its original intent was to stop people from spamming blogs and forums but people with genuine and valuable posts that really add to the content aren't being heard.

 

Even wordpress default themes are having nofollow links by default and we can make it dofollow by installing a plugin to make links dofollow but no one is doing this anymore. Is it possible that in upcoming time the dofollow and nofollow links will count no worth? What is the future?

 

But is that really can help??

I mean is that really the case that when u make your blog or so no follow then the spammers jsut stop spamming???

Agreed, But still you will find very less blog who supports link love. I was searching for them but came up with very less results..
